The Avani cushion is handwoven in 100% eri silk. Eri silk is native to North East India. Also known as 'peace' silk as it does not kill the worm in the extraction of the silk. It is cultivated in the villages, handspun, naturally dyed and handwoven. This eri silk cushion is woven in Assam using traditional techniques and entirely natural resources.
