The bee brick is a stylish nesting site for solitary bees, designed to help these vital pollinators out with more habitat. The bee brick looks stunning in the garden on it's own but it's true potential lies in the fact that it can be used in place of a standard house brick - if one were to be used in every new build we could start to realise massive change for the plight of the bees.
The bee brick is made in Cornwall by the team at Green&Blue. The team use a large proportion of waste material from the China Clay industry in their concrete mix and harvest rainwater to clean down mixers after production. They are always looking at ways in which they can decrease their effect on the environment.
