Champions of Sustainable Creativity – Blue Patch Patrons

‘Our mission is to educate and motivate creative small businesses towards climate-consciousness, including energy and waste saving. By shining a light on our members’ sustainability achievements we inspire action and behaviour change across the community, in other businesses and the general public. Our network builds connections between creative small businesses so they can thrive together, helping to build a more sustainable economy.’

The Blue Patch Mission

Small businesses make up 95% of the UK economy and generate around 40% of business GHG emissions. Yet they often lack the resources – including time, money and know-how – required to focus on reducing their environmental impact and improving their sustainability.

Blue Patch, with the support of its Patrons, is stepping in to help.

Blue Patch Patrons believe the green economy can lead us to a better future and have committed to reducing the environmental impact of their business operations.

Approaches to sustainable transition may include circularity, carbon auditing, providing responsible supply chains and mentoring to support a thriving local economy.

Patrons empower creative small businesses to reduce their environmental impact by supporting:

We would love to hear about your business and see if there is a fit between your values and Blue Patch’s mission.

Patrons are automatically listed as members of Blue Patch’s sustainable community and included in the directory and including the patron logo.
