I specialise in weaving willow animal sculptures for the home and garden.I also make willow lights and run courses. Mainly working to commission, however I do have some sculptures available for sale. Please contact me if you would like to visit. I also have a Sculptures for Sale page on my website. I am an Associate Member of the Devon Guild of Craftsmen and part of the Dartmoor Artisan Trail. My willow animal workshops run throughout the year in Moretonhampstead. I can weave any life-size animals for commissions. The larger sculptures are particularly good for pubs, hotels, stately homes and commercial promotions, but are equally at home in a private garden. Please do give me a few months notice if possible especially near Christmas as I do get rather booked up.

Story and ethos

After care for willow sculptures. Your sculpture should last for many years, but to prolong its life if kept outside, you should spray it with a breathable wood preserve, or a 50/50 mix of boiled linseed oil and turpentine at least twice a year when the sculpture is dry. How long your willow sculpture lasts will also depend on a few factions such as the weather, and the density of the weave. The denser the weave the longer it will last. If placed in a damp area it will not last as well as in full sun. Another way to lengthen its lifespan is to bring it inside for the winter.
