Forget Me Not and Green is a small independent family run sustainable gift and greeting card store in Herne Hill, South East London. Our aim is to support and promote small independent UK and Fair Trade brands, who share our passion for sustainability, quality, ethical luxury and handmade. We stock a thoughtfully curated range of originally designed stationery and cards, hand poured candles, kids craft, beauty, homeware and jewellery to name a few. We're super proud to support many local artisans too, across our greeting cards, ceramics and jewellery. Which continues to grow and grow, with new makers coming on board.

Owned and run by me, Sam, a local mum who has lived in the area for more than fifteen years. The idea started when I wanted to find gifts for family and friends that were a bit different. Importantly they needed to be sustainably made and manufactured with good ethical values. It’s always lovely to discover a new maker on your travels and think ‘I wish they sold more of this type of thing where I live’! Desperate to change careers, and spurred on by my husband, I decided to open my own shop. A year of research and meeting some wonderful artisans who shared the same values, the shop is now up and running.
It's very much a family business, with my husband offering moral support and my young son testing the kids toys, craft and occasionally helping out in the school holidays.
I love Sam’s store, always such wonderful things to select from and only a 6 minute walk from home in Herne Hill. It’s great to welcome a local business to the sustainable business community.
