The idea for Seedboms came from Kabloom founder Darren Wilson.
Darren’s journey began back in the early 2000s when he graduated with a degree in 3D design and craft. During his studies, he became increasingly more aware of the impending environmental crisis we were facing. This wasn’t as prevalent in the media and in the general public awareness at the time but once the research began there was no going back! The plan? To design a product that reconnected people with nature, even in a small way. To get people outside and create nature and colour in their cities for the benefit of everyone.
Here at Kabloom we make fun and innovative planet-friendly products designed for interaction. Our products are inspired by our (cultural) relationship with nature and the urban environment.
We are a small team of 3 including a full-time Net Zero Coordinator. We outsource our product assembly locally and fulfil all product dispatches ourselves to maintain high quality standards and full control over our output.
Made with a starch and natural fibre-based 100% compostable and recyclable shell, organic peat-free compost, non-GMO seeds and 100% biodegradable and recyclable glue-free cardboard packaging. Seedboms biodegrade into the environment leaving only plants behind. Created in Scotland, UK.
10% off all sale products go to Rewilding Britain and we are a 1% for the Planet member.
Kabloom is ethical and environmentally focused since its inception. We are dedicated to our Net-Zero journey and are working towards reducing our (already very low) carbon footprint.
We plan to grow our range of planet-friendly products as well as achieve carbon-negative and BCorp status by 2030.
