We build partnerships

Blue Patch is all about connections. We help members to become museum sponsors, find partners for funding bids, collaborate to put on exhibitions and to be represented at trade fairs. Members regularly receive donated materials from the Royal Ballet & Opera, fostering the circular economy and reducing waste. Blue Patch fosters collaboration to help members to reduce costs and share skills and materials – we are a sustainable community.

The Blue Patch directory is curated. We champion climate-conscious businesses, great design, natural materials, organic production, heritage skills and cutting-edge innovation. We also welcome accredited service-providers. We’d love to hear about your business.

Larger businesses, including suppliers and outlets must have accreditations appropriate to their sector and meet Blue Patch’s ethical policy (updated policy due 2025). Larger companies may become Patrons or Sponsors and support the work of the charity. Tell us about your business.

Testimonials

Net Zero training

Blue Patch’s workshop was very insightful. It was great to hear about ESG and the impact it will have on businesses. It was also great to interact and learn from other attendees. The session was eye-opening and I would highly recommend it to others.

Our partner network

Manchester Art Gallery is very happy to be hosting Blue Patch at the gallery, as part of our drive to support a more sustainable and ethical economy and switch to an ecologically sound way of life. The gallery has always had a role as a kind of ‘regulator valve’ as Manchester has grown from a town to a super city, championing the role of both ethics and aesthetics in the development of a healthy society. Manchester has set a zero carbon target for 2038 and this project underlines our commitment to achieving this goal, and at the same time supports the growth of community owned green energy across the land.

Ruskin reminds manufacturers that the things they make and how they make them determines the nature of everyone’s world. The attention to thoughtful manufacture by Blue Patch makers makes them champions of social justice and environmental responsibility. That they achieve this by creating products of inspiring beauty is all the more remarkable. We are delighted to have Blue Patch at Brantwood.

Howard Hull, Director, Brantwood, 2024

In 2023 we applied for an Innovate UK grant. As a requirement for the application, we required a large company to partner with us. Blue Patch made introductions to the correct people in a very short space of time. As a result we won the grant. It has been a great journey which started with a simple phone call 🙂 Thank you Blue Patch

Well done Blue Patch for being on the leading edge of the curve and thanks for promoting Laura’s Loom. I have to say of all the groups I’ve joined, the only group that I feel really cares about my business is Blue Patch. You’re always finding ways to help promote your members in a way that I’ve never experienced with any other marketing group. It makes being a member more than worthwhile, so thanks for that too.

Laura, Laura’s Loom. Member since 2017
