Join us at the Sustainability Show

Our Power of Positive Shopping campaign connects shoppers to sustainable businesses and what better place to do this than at the Sustainability Show where we will be exhibiting on the 15-16 October 2022. We look forward to seeing you in the Home & Garden section on Stand E7.

The Sustainability Show celebrates the latest sustainable products and services in home & garden, health and beauty and more. We’re teaming up with Blue Patch members to showcase how environmentally friendly they are.

Ava Innes makes bed linen from recycled cashmere, British wool and responsibly sourced 100% organic cotton. The cashmere guard hair, a by-product of cashmere, is sourced from Afghanistan and Ava Innes supports Afghanaid. Plus a tree is planted for every order by ‘One Tree Planted’. Their luxurious products make you feel good in terms of both personal comfort and sustainable ethics.

Buy your last toothbrush ever from tooth.eco. They make sustainably designed toothbrushes from recycled and biodegradable materials and offer a toothbrush with a replaceable head. The toothbrushes are made from recyclable nylon and the brush handle is made from recyclable aluminium.

If you are ready to make a sustainable swap to a solid shampoo bar or conditioner bar, Kind2 makes award winning, high performing products. They say “saving the planet doesn’t have to mean bad hair.” Their bars are palm oil free, vegan and made with natural colours and fragrances.

Artisanal perfumer 4160 Tuesdays makes a fascinating array of scents that will leave you smelling lovely. They hand make and bottle all their scents in a low impact studio and package them in recycled and sustainable packaging. They’ll even give you a discount for using less packaging and for refiling your bottle.

PlayPress Toys make non-toxic and eco-friendly children’s playsets using FSC certified materials. The playsets are biodegradable and can be recycled. Featuring favourites like farmyards, space, dinosaurs, doctors, safari wildlife, castles and pirates and licensed sets with the Gruffalo and Shaun the Sheep.

For organic skincare inspired by Italy, visit Terre Verdi on our Sustainability Show stand. They make natural & vegan skincare products for the face and body like face creams, serums and body oils. They make the first water based face moisturiser to be certified by the Soil Association as Cosmos Organic. The products are carefully packaged in sustainable packaging with specialised glass containers to keep the products fresh for longer.

Wolfram Lohr makes plant holders from recycled leather – see them on the stand. He also makes bags, wallets, belts and accessories to last. All are finely crafted from hand picked hides that are vegetable tanned. Their whole ethos is built around small batch sustainable processes and artisanal products.

Get ready for a sustainable Christmas with Keep This Cracker. This is an ingenious product that saves waste each Christmas and can be reused year after year. It still has a cracker, a pet friendly ecosnap, as that is all part of the fun. The crackers are 100% recyclable as is their cardboard packaging, including the snaps and the ribbons.

Denby Pottery have been making beautiful homewares for centuries. What you may not know is that they are environmentally conscious in all aspects of their business. They make great efforts to reduce waste including being the first tableware manufacturer to reach zero process waste. They also reduce energy consumption, conserve water and use recyclable packaging.

EcoAlex will be presenting his model of a retrofit home and explaining how to insulate as well as create biodiverse roofs.

Pop in to see our members The Shrew With The Flu author Will Hamilton-Davies on the stand with Kabloom plastic free ‘seed boms’ (H6) and Delphis Eco (H12) who make environmentally friendly cleaning products for home and business.
