Jane Langley
Founder and CEO
Jane comes to entrepreneurship following a long career in art where she exhibited, curated and taught painting for 27 years. After a talk on Climate Change in 2009 she launched a global arts project to inspire young people to create paintings, poetry and films about the environment. Following that, she decided to set up a non-profit business that supported sustainability-minded businesses while investing 100% of its surplus revenue into renewable energy. Blue Patch is now a community on a mission to support the transition to a low-carbon, circular economy.
Margy Newens
Membership and Patrons Lead
Margy comes to Blue Patch after several years in the City as a sugar trader. With her extensive experience in building and managing relationships, she is also Councillor for Dulwich Village Ward, in the London Borough of Southwark. Fluent in Russian and French, Margy is widely travelled within Europe, CIC and the Middle East, making her an ideal Membership and Patrons lead.
Anna Skipwith
Social Media Club Manager
Anna runs Blue Patch’s Social Media Club via the members’ newsletter. She founded hellosocial.media in January 2019 after 10 years working in PR in the City. She loves to support and train small businesses to use social media more effectively. Tilly, her golden spaniel, is the love of her life along with her 3 teen boys and DIY-loving husband!
Annette Clubley
Social Media Manager
Annette has a digital marketing agency background and retrained as a social media manager. She works for a wide range of businesses as a social media service provider and trainer. As a keen wildlife conservationist, Annette is mindful of sustainability and our impact on the environment. Outside of work, family is her focus and she loves teaching the next generation to enjoy the outdoors.
Gabrielle Crimes
Marketing
With over 20 years marketing and copywriting experience, Gabrielle is equipped to take on a challenge. A senior marketing manager and content specialist, her skills include campaign planning and delivery, print projects and digital content strategy. She enjoys living by the sea and cooking and plans to have a portrait photo taken one day!
Sarah Matthews
Finance and Bookkeeping
As our in-house bookkeeper, Sarah manages the finances at Blue Patch. She worked as a lawyer before retraining to support businesses with financial management. She has an undying love for Neil Diamond and enjoys holidays and a good game of tennis.
Advisory Council
The Advisory Council members play a key role in oversight. The Board reports to the Advisory Council, updating them on the activities and reporting against targets set out in the strategy document. The Advisory Council takes a fresh view to challenges and support the Board. Our current Advisory Council members were instrumental in developing Blue Patch’s strategy over a two year period and are well placed to evaluate the mission and vision of Blue Patch’s (pending) Articles of Association.
Jackie Porciani
Marcomms
An accomplished Marketing and Communications professional, Jackie has developed and implemented international marketing campaigns for high profile businesses, including Harrods, Fabergé and Bausch + Lomb. Most recently, she has led the development of the regional marketing assets for the launch of Bausch + Lomb ULTRA ONE DAY Multifocal across EMEA. She has managed teams and created collaborative and innovative working environments focused on preparing marketing campaigns, content, and ensuring alignment with brands. With expertise in managing partnerships Jackie adopts a pro-active approach to building long term relationships with clients, colleagues, brands, and marketing professionals.
Anna Lind
Business Development
Anna is an MBA-educated strategy and business transformation expert with over 20 years experience supporting business leaders in designing and implementing their organisation’s strategic growth agenda. Anna will be supporting the leadership team at Blue Patch as they pursue their growth agenda. In her spare time, Anna is keen amateur runner and avid traveller.
Marcos Moret
Business Development
Marcos is a technology transformation and innovation specialist, with 25 years of industry experience. His expertise spans strategy through implementation, and includes user experience, data and analytics, AI, CRM, e-Commerce & loyalty, marketing technology, content / publishing, and workplace transformation. As a consultant, clients have included Avios, Coca-Cola, IHS Markit, the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment, Informa, Kingfisher, O2, Reed, and Three. Marcos also provides executive & business coaching services, working with CXOs and founders at the intersection of nature, sustainability and technology. He is holder of an MBA (Tech Management specialism), CIM Marketing Diploma, BA Management & Psychology, Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching, and various project / programme management certifications. Marcos lives with his family in Wimbledon, and enjoys tennis, music and nature.
Ranjit Paul
Finance
Ranjit is a commercially focused chief financial officer with extensive experience in finance leadership roles at listed and private companies across a wide array of businesses including exchanges, post trade solutions in OTC derivatives, electronic and voice broking, and SaaS businesses. He has served on executive management committees and supported Board and other governance committees. He has a proven record of partnering with businesses to successfully execute long term commercial strategy. Consistently delivered strong cash flow, healthy dividends and created capacity for investments to drive long term growth. Deep commitment to talent development and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Successfully completed several mergers and acquisitions. Completed three major finance transformation programmes, ensuring a collaborative approach to minimise disruption on the business and ultimately delivering improved support for the organisation. Voluntary Board
Our Board members cover a range of tasks and work within small teams. We’re fortunate to have advisors with specialisms in sustainability, GDPR, cyber security and ESG. The technical team focus on course content and technical development (such as our work place carbon calculator and UK and international legislation related to net zero)
Our Growth Team is responsible for revenue generation to support the development and delivery of Blue Patch Learning. Growth, as a principle, is positive – the more members we gather the more locally connected the network becomes.
Our Community Advocacy volunteers, guided by team lead Lily, are laying the foundations for Blue Patch’s Community Advocacy framework. This project is designed to incentivise Blue Patch members, as well as train business and academic communities to become climate-conscious by supporting learning and confidently and accurately sharing information.
Mark Harris

Mark is a seasoned change manager and director with extensive expertise in technical products, systems, and services for both consumer and business-to-consumer markets. As a qualified Chartered Engineer, Mark has consistently led and advised on innovation and change within technology companies, often driving new business growth and sharpening strategic focus. Previous employers or clients include Costa Coffee,McLaren motorsport, Novartis pharma, Smiths medical, and Motorola automotive. In 2020, Mark recognised the urgency of the climate crisis and has since been dedicated to supporting the transition to a sustainable future. He has actively pursued roles focused on addressing climate change and achieving net zero. Most recently, he served as the Director of Programmes at the Blockchain & Climate Institute in a voluntary capacity. Mark brings a wealth of transferable skills and relevant experience, including research, analysis, planning, management, budgeting, and front-line skills. He lives in St. Albans, and enjoys travelling, walking, and exploring new places.
Clare Bolton

Clare Bolton is an experienced business leader in the media sector with extensive experience in driving growth, leading organisational change, and embedding sustainability into business strategy. A journalist by trade, she currently leads the editorial and content team at a large business intelligence and data business, overseeing global teams and significant revenue growth. She also leads on sustainability and ESG for the organisation, driving the company’s peer group-leading Net Zero commitment through comprehensive carbon audits and integrating sustainable practices into corporate strategy. She mentors peers and smaller businesses in the sector to strengthen their sustainability, working to embed more sustainable practices across the industry.
Jack Buckle
Special Advisor: Technical Team. Cyber security and GDPR
Jack has 13 years as a cyber security practitioner and technical team lead. Whilst specialising in technical security testing, he has a broad skillset in helping clients to identify, understand and mitigate cyber security risks. He has extensive experience working with a range of organisations across the private, public and third sectors, and regulatory regimes including PCI DSS, Open Banking and NCSC CHECK. He is passionate about improving cyber security and in enabling organisations of all sizes to understand risks and address security challenges. He is concerned at the anthropogenic damage that continues to be caused to the environment and the impact upon communities in the UK and across the globe. He is enthusiastic about supporting Blue Patch and its members grow securely and continue to re-invest in our communities.

Alice Doyle
Special Advisor. Lead Environmental Consultant: Net Zero team
Alice is a sustainability consultant and chartered environmentalist with over 20 years experience of putting people and planet before profit. As an associate consultant for Naturesave Insurance Alice will be supporting Blue Patch members on their sustainability journey. Outside of work Alice enjoys slow travel (walking, cycling or trains) and living by the sea.
Byford Tsang
Special Advisor: Net Zero Team
Byford’s background is in helping businesses understand and act on their environmental impact. He has worked with companies across Asia, Europe and the US, with hands-on experience supporting sectors such as apparel and hospitality to reduce their impact in operations and production, including working directly with manufacturers on the ground. More recently, he works in policy research and advisory for the public sector, including on international climate negotiations and how trade and industrial policies shape the choices available to everyday businesses. He is most interested in helping small businesses find simple, realistic ways to reduce their impact, and looks forward to supporting the Blue Patch community.
Kemone S-G Brown
Special Advisor: Blue Patch Learning
Kemone S-G Brown is a Transformation Strategist with nearly two decades of international experience spanning strategy, research, human rights, and human and community development. She has helped build and develop over 70 businesses across Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, and the UK, working consistently at the intersection of complexity and practicality: diagnosing what is actually holding organisations back, and building the conditions for sustainable change. Her work includes research consultancy, monitoring and evaluation, strategic development, and programme design and implementation across NGOs, governments, and community organisations on multiple continents. Kemone brings to Blue Patch a strong grounding in workshop design, impact measurement, and strategic communications, alongside a genuine understanding of why micro-businesses so often struggle to engage with the sustainability agenda. Her approach is rooted in evidence, built around listening, and focused on one question above all others: what will people actually do differently when they leave the room?

Martyn Poessinouw
Special Advisor: Fundraising Team Lead. Blue Patch Learning
Martyn Poessinouw brings extensive experience in climate change, net zero and green skills, having worked across local government, charities, education and small business support. He has led and contributed to a wide range of sustainability initiatives, including carbon literacy programmes, community climate action, green skills development and practical net zero support for SMEs. Martyn has previously worked at organisations such as City & Guilds, Wenta and Peterborough City Council, where he helped design and deliver net zero strategies, learning programmes and support services tailored to the needs of small and, specifically, micro-businesses. He also has a background in environmental/ climate change research and has worked with universities and public bodies on the green economy and the opportunities this presents for small businesses. At Blue Patch, Martyn is keen to support businesses on their sustainability journey by helping translate complex climate and net zero concepts into practical, accessible actions that work in the real world.
Eva Jasiecka

Eva is a results-oriented strategy and commercial leader with two decades of success accelerating global revenue growth and operational excellence for tech companies. She applies strategic foresight and commercial expertise to help companies embrace innovation and navigate complex, rapidly changing environments. Eva holds an MBA in Economics and an Executive MBA from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Her mission is to increase the awareness, accessibility and application of strategic foresight methodologies in decision making to foster sustainability and long-term thinking.
Nick Earl

Nick is a sales-focused alliance professional with a strong track record of building high-performing partner ecosystems across software organisations. He brings extensive experience across both start-up and enterprise organisations, with a proven ability to design and execute global and regional alliance strategies that drive significant revenue growth. Nick has successfully built and led partner and sales teams and is recognised for creating effective engagement models. He has a consistent record of closing complex direct and indirect deals across multiple countries, combining strategic insight with hands-on execution and leveraging a strong network to deliver measurable commercial success. In his spare time, he is an avid West Ham fan, a regular gig-goer, and a passionate vinyl record collector.

I live in Manchester with my husband and 10 month old puppy. I work in sales enablement for the technology company Brother International Europe. I focus on developing strategies, tools and processes that help our European B2B sales teams work more effectively, win new business and deliver results. Sustainability is something I care deeply about, both personally and professionally. With postgraduate expertise in Innovation, Enterprise & Circular Economy and active involvement in sustainability volunteering, I am committed to driving positive environmental impact both in my community and across the organisations I work with.

Lily Poelmann is a Business Development Manager at a startup focused on sustainable period care, where she works closely with clients to help businesses create more eco-friendly and equitable workplaces. Her role sits at the intersection of strategy, partnerships, and impact, crafting business cases to support clients in making more sustainable choices in their procurement. Lily previously worked in carbon accounting, gaining expertise in the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and the evolving regulatory landscape of carbon reporting, and studied environmental sociology as part of her undergraduate degree at UCL. Born and raised in Hong Kong and now based in London, she brings a global mindset to her work, and she is excited by BluePatch’s mission and brings a deep personal passion for sustainability, including a love for upcycling fashion and spending time outdoors.
Nijmeh Zaman
Student: International Development and Sociology at the University of Sussex
Nijmeh Zaman is currently studying International Development and Sociology at the University of Sussex, driven by a passion for climate justice, public health and sustainable futures. Drawing on her experience leading university sustainability initiatives and previous roles in public-health and environmental NGOs both in the UK and Pakistan, she brings a unique global perspective and hands-on campaign expertise. Through her role as a student volunteer at Blue Patch, Nijmeh hopes to help bridge the gap between academic research, ethical business, and community-driven climate action. She is passionate about amplifying youth voices in sustainability conversations and contributing to collaborative solutions that connect people, planet, and purpose.
Carolina Abdo
Student: MA Geography at The University of Edinburgh
She is an undergraduate student studying MA Geography at The University of Edinburgh. Carolina is fascinated by the interconnectedness of global systems within our contemporary society. Her studies have specifically ignited keen interests for environmental justice and sustainable development whilst fostering her understanding of the role that NGOs play as stewards in addressing environmental injustice. Carolina is currently undertaking her dissertation in how air pollution disproportionally affects female minority communities, with specific focus on how female-led NGOs and grassroots navigate and organise their response. Through her role as a student volunteer in the Community Advocacy Team, she hopes to help businesses transition towards sustainable operations while serving as a young advocate in the field, whilst applying her studies to real-world contexts.
Dagogo Ibifuro
New graduate 2026. Master’s degree in Electronics and Automotive Engineering
Dagogo Ibifuro is a freelance music producer and sound engineer with a background in electronics and creative technology. He works across recording, mixing, and audio production, helping people capture clear, confident sound for music, podcasts, and digital content. With a strong technical and creative approach, he is passionate about making audio tools accessible, especially for those new to media and storytelling, and enjoys helping people feel comfortable and confident on camera and with a microphone. Alongside his creative work, he is interested in how engineering can improve everyday listening experiences, including the sound quality of in-car audio systems. He has recently completed a master’s degree in Electronics and Automotive Engineering.

Douceline van Caloen
Associate curator
Douceline is a Hong Kong-Belgian art curator. She majored in Political Science at Loyola Marymount University and earned her MA in Curating Contemporary Art at the Royal College of Art, London in 2025. Douceline’s practice focuses on post-representational curation as an interventionist approach to enable emancipatory methods of producing and sharing knowledge by creating opportunities for open discussion, negotiation, and unexpected encounters. She uses a process-focused approach to explore the possibilities of multi-narrative and fragmented stories. Douceline will be co-curating projects with Blue Patch, bringing new perspectives to broaden the scope of sustainability and creative practice.

Dr Virginie Litaudon
Advisor: Blue Patch Learning
Dr. Virginie Litaudon is a Franco-British circular economy and sustainability lecturer and researcher. With a PhD in Business and Circular Economy and over five years of experience, she has worked across public, private, and academic sectors to advance the circular economy, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and sustainable development goals (SDGs). Her expertise lies in translating complex research into actionable strategies, including the design of circular business models, delivering sustainability workshops to diverse audiences, and publishing impactful research in peer-reviewed journals. A key contributor to the €8.8 million EU-funded PlastiCity project, she developed circular innovative frameworks to increase recycling rates significantly across European cities.
Henry Yu
3D Visualiser
Henry is a professional 3D visualiser with expertise in architectural and interior visualisation. With a background in post-production, he brings a unique blend of creativity and technical proficiency to his work. Having lived in Hong Kong, the US, and the UK, Henry has a diverse cultural perspective that enhances his projects. His extensive knowledge spans both 3D design and motion graphics, making him a versatile asset in the visual arts industry. Fluent in English and Cantonese, Henry enjoys traveling, exploring new destinations, and immersing himself in unique experiences.
Julie Lardieg
Filmmaker, Video Editor and Storyteller
With over 20 years of experience in marketing, Julie has created innovative concepts and successfully launched brands and campaigns in the beauty, fragrance, and pharmaceutical industries. Her passion for storytelling and filmmaking led her to study at MetFilm School, where she enhanced her skills to become a freelance videographer, video editor, and storyteller. In her spare time, Julie is an avid runner and enjoys playing basketball. She is also a teacher.
Julian Namubiru
Advisor: Blue Patch Learning
Julian has extensive international experience and expertise in sustainability, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), corporate training, advocacy, and social impact. Fluent in both French and English, she is a strong communicator and advocate for marginalised communities, with a focus on inclusion and equal rights in business. Julian holds a Certificate in ESG Principles and Standards from the Association of Governance Risk and Compliance in London, complementing an MSc in Management and International Business. With a diverse educational background, including a focus on politics and diplomacy at the University of London (SOAS), she combine academic rigour with practical experience.
Cheena Chopra

Cheena’s experience in the fashion industry and her entrepreneurial journey are defined by determination and passion to succeed and a commitment and love for sustainable living. Being dedicated to giving back to society has been a driving force. Working on the UN project for Rohingya Refugees and spending time with Orphan children in India has shaped her into who she is, infusing professional pursuits with a deep sense of purpose. She has had the opportunity to live and work across three continents and five countries, enriching her perspectives. This diverse background has honed her skills and fuelled her mission to promote sustainable living.
Holly Langley-Lang

Holly has a wide-reaching experience of supporting vulnerable people through her roles as caseworker for St Giles Trust and Back-up Trust. Before this she worked in primary education, reviewing and developing a school library to reflect today’s culture. Holly is currently a legal caseworker for the UK Civil Service. She holds a Masters from SOAS (UCL) in Migration and Diaspora Studies. She’s a mum too and has a passion for helping her son to develop a love of art and nature.

Chituru is a strategic business professional with over 5 years of experience in business development, business analysis, and data analytics across the fintech, telecommunications, and technology industries. She founded a Junior Chamber International Collegiate Local organisation in her home country, Nigeria, to raise students to become leaders who see societal needs and take the lead. She is currently studying for a Masters degree in International Business and Data Analytics, she combines analytical expertise with creative problem-solving skills to drive business growth. Catherine Marks
Contributor and academic
Catherine has a background of 20 years’ experience in finance and M&A. Her career has spanned the tech, telecoms, media and financial services industries in the UK, Switzerland and the US. She was the Vice President of Finance at Depop and led the Financial Planning team at O2 through its merger with Virgin Media. She delivers training to finance teams with GrowCFO. She holds a Masters degree in Philanthropic Studies and is currently doing a PHD.

Emma Kirby, Jane Langley and Matt Beale-Collins ‘incubated’ the Blue Patch project over several years, through research, shared experience and discussion. The question ‘can an business community, united by a passion for nature, sustainability and ethical values, exist in a free market economy‘ came to a positive conclusion – Blue Patch launched in 2014.
Emma Kirby
With a background in aviation, agri-tech and herd improvement co-operatives, Pilates, and facial reflexology, Emma’s leading career and last role was an Investment strategy manager with 20 years + in fiduciary and portfolio management, experience in fund administration and portfolio implementation, business development, asset allocation, ESG, strategic modelling and trading. She was also a member of the London Office Sustainability Committee, which was part of a Global Sustainability Committee. Emma is currently studying Fengshui based interior design.
Matt Beale-Collins
Matt is a psychotherapeutic counsellor, with a background in supporting adults and young people through physical and psychological challenges. He has worked as a mentor with young adults excluded from mainstream education, and as a grief companion attached to a hospice. He works relationally, which means he places great emphasis on the value in building relationship, as well as the way that other relationships function in your life.
