Join our interactive workshop to learn how to protect your business and home from flooding!
Are you ready for a flood?
Wednesday 18th September
10am-1pm
Half Moon Pub workshop
10, Half Moon Lane
SE24 9HU
Here in the UK extreme rainfall may lead to floods. Increased rainfall is recognised as the main climate change risk in this country.
The UK is, on average, getting wetter. Storms, floods, and extreme temperatures can damage buildings, disrupt transport, and impact on human health and biodiversity. Buildings and infrastructure need to be adapted to cope with the new conditions and businesses must plan for a changing climate.
Learn how to flood-proof your business and home from two of the UK’s top flood experts Mary Long-Dhonau and Gareth Boyd.
Meet our UK flood experts

Mary is a huge advocate for Property Flood Resilience and is passionate about helping communities work in partnership to help minimise the disruption flooding brings.
Previously she was the CEO of the National Flood Forum before setting up her own consultancy, Flood Mary, which specialises in Property Flood Resilience support, guidance and community engagement.
