Par-avion co. is a Norfolk-based design partnership run by Simon and Monica Cass that creates timeless pieces of sustainable furniture and homeware.
In keeping with their furniture making and architecture background, all their products incorporate a strong design aesthetic along with combining traditional Japanese and British craft skills with modern styling.
They took over our Instagram account to tell us more about their brand, their ethos and show us around their workshop and products.

Par Avion considers itself an enviromentally-conscious brand.
What does this mean?
This means that they are dedicated to preserving the environment and consider the environmental impact of every component of their products. Additionally, they consider the environmental impact of running their business and take key steps to minimise it.
How do they do this?
- Ensuring that they know the provenance of all their materials
- Using local materials and labour
- Offsetting the impact of carbon emissions from shipping
- Using completely recyclable packaging
- Finding alternatives to less environmentally friendly standards
Also they have pledged to become net zero by 2030.
