The WIndsor Workshop

The WIndsor Workshop

James Mursell has been making Windsor chairs for the last 20 years. He offers 2- and 5-day courses in his purpose-built workshop to make stools and chairs. These courses are for adults, and no previous experience of woodworking is required. He also makes and sells specialist chairmaking tools (spokeshaves and travishers) from his website. James makes Windsor chairs to commission from English hardwoods, and he wrote 'Windsor Chairmaking' in 2010 which covers all aspects of Windsor chairs.
